osteopathy

what is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of drug-free, non-invasive manual medicine that focuses on total body health, by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles and spine.  Its aim is to positively affect the body's nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems.  THE GOAL:  Osteopathic Manual Treatment aims to restore the normal functioning of the affected areas of the body.  By assessing and treating the body as a whole, it restores the interrelationship between the different systems (musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, pulmonary, digestive, etc.) so you can function properly.

Osteopathy is. a safe and effective treatment for infants to older adults.  It is best known for the treatment of musculoskeletal problems such as:

work and repetitive strain injuries | muscle/ligament injuries | sciatica | trapped nerves

headaches | joint pain | sports injuries | digestive issues | back & neck pain

a note on massage therapy:

Massage therapy is a form of manual manipulation that involves applying pressure, movement, and tension to the soft tissues of the body to promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. Massage therapy has been used for centuries to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve circulation. It can also help relieve anxiety and depression, boost the immune system, and enhance sleep quality.  Massage therapy is a safe and natural way to improve physical and mental health, making it a popular choice for people of all ages and lifestyles.
